This includes operating equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, and skid steers to support grading, trenching, pipe installation, and paving activities.
Key responsibilities include performing precise equipment operation to meet grade and alignment requirements, assisting with site preparation and material handling, and coordinating closely with foremen and crew members to maintain workflow and productivity. The Equipment Operator is also responsible for conducting routine equipment inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and ensuring equipment is operated in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate has experience operating multiple types of construction equipment, a strong understanding of site safety practices (including OSHA standards), and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred and considered a plus.
The Experienced Asphalt Paver is responsible for placing, leveling, and finishing asphalt surfaces on roadways, parking lots, and other projects in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. This role works as part of the paving crew to ensure smooth, uniform application and proper compaction of asphalt materials.
Key responsibilities include operating or assisting with paving equipment, raking and shoveling asphalt, setting proper depth and grade, and ensuring joints and transitions are constructed correctly. The Asphalt Paver works closely with equipment operators, roller operators, and foremen to maintain production efficiency and achieve a high-quality finished product.
